1933 V357 World Wide Gum Ice Kings PSA-Graded Collection (4)

Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $3,525

Collection of four extraordinarily high grade 1933 World Wide Gum "Ice Kings" Hockey cards, each graded NM-MT 8 by PSA: #2 Brydge (New York), 5 Robinson (Montreal), 43 Wentworth (Montreal), and 54 Ripley (Boston). All are well centered, with razor-sharp corners and flawless registration. Each of these four cards, as of this writing, is the highest graded example in the PSA registry. Only forty-one V357 examples have ever been graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, four additional examples have been graded NM-MT+ 8.5, and none higher. The four cards currently list for a total of $1,200 in SMR, but it is our experience that the market often values exceptionally high grade vintage cards at a substantial premium to SMR, especially those from extremely desirable sets. Total 4 cards. Reserve $400. Estimate $800/$1,200. SOLD FOR $3,525
