1909-1911 T206 Frank Chance - Yellow - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $5,581

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Yellow portrait pose. Cycle Back. One of just eleven graded at this level by PSA (of the 524 graded in total to date), with only two examples graded higher. Striking high-grade PSA example of key Hall of Famer Frank Chance from the highly desirable T206 White Border series. Bright and clean, both front and back, with a vibrant yellow background, centered slightly to the top (30/70 T/B, with similar centering on the reverse), extremely strong corners, and a perfectly clean surface with particularly bold colors. In our opinion, this card has a very slight trim across the top border, though someone else could have a different opinion. The printing of the scarce Cycle advertising on the back is bright and bold. This is a very highly graded T206 example of one of Hall of Famer Frank Chance's most stunning cards. The SMR value in the assigned grade is $3,600. Reserve $1,000. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $5,581
