1909-1911 T206 Red Ames PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $940

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Portrait pose. One of just five examples graded at this level, with only one graded higher. This extremely high-grade T206 of Red Ames has snow-white borders, bold colors, and four razor-sharp corners. Centered very slightly to the right border (60/40). Boldly printed Piedmont advertising reverse. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $850. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $940
