1911 E100 Bishop & Co. PCL Type II BVG-Graded Collection (5 cards)

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $8,225

The PCL has always been of great interest to card collectors. Offered is a small medium-grade selection of one of the rarest 1910 era PCL issues: the 1911 E100 Bishop & Co. Type II series. These cards are very similar to the E100 Type I cards except they are printed with green or orange backgrounds, have blank backs (as opposed to a checklist back on the Type I cards), and the images are cropped tighter to provide a larger picture. This is a beautiful group. Each card has been graded and encapsulated by BVG (Beckett). The collection is comprised of Delhi (Los Angeles, VG-EX 4), Nelson (Oakland, VG+ 3.5), Rapps (Portland, VG+ 3.5), Steen (Portland, VG+ 3.5), and Tennant (San Francisco, G-VG 2.5). This is a very attractive and conservatively graded newly discovered small group of these rarities, ideal for the serious PCL or sample-card collector. Total 5 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++. SOLD FOR $8,225
