1930s and 1940s Prewar Baseball-Card Collection (235)

Very substantial and exciting assemblage of 235 assorted low- to mid-grade vintage cards, spanning the years 1932 to 1941, with representation of nine different card sets, highlighted by many stars and Hall of Famers. Numerous highlights include cards from some of the most popular and unusual sets from the 1930s (including eight R328 U.S. Caramel cards, three 1933 DeLong Gum cards, and two 1937 O-Pee-Chee cards). 1) 1932 R328 U.S. Caramel (8 cards, 7 different): #8 Hafey (Vg), 9 Sarazen (Pr), 10 Maranville (Pr), two 13 L. Waner (Gd and Pr), 18 Lazzeri (Gd), 20 Rufffing (Pr), and 29 Earnshaw (Vg). 2) 1933 R333 DeLong (3 cards, 2 different): #15 Stephenson (Pr-Fr) and two 18 Dykes (Fr and Pr). 3) 1933 Goudey Sport Kings (15 cards, 12 different): two #9 Blood (Vg-Ex and Fr), 13 Fator (Ex), 14 Londos (trimmed, o/w Ex), two 15 McNamara (Vg-Ex and Fr), two 16 Tilden (Pr-Fr and trimmed, o/w Gd), 21 Weissmuller (Pr-Fr), 28 Doolittle (possible slight trim, o/w Ex), 29 Bailey (Fr), 36 Hoppe (Pr), 40 George (Fr), 46 Vines (Pr), and 47 Stevens (Gd). 4) 1934-1936 R318 Batter-Up (89 low-number cards, 48 different): 20% Vg (with a few slightly better), and 80% ranging from Pr to Gd (averaging Fr) all with tops.
