1952 Topps High Numbers PSA EX-MT 6 Collection Including Campy (17)
Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $5,875
Collection of seventeen 1952 Topps rare high number series cards (#311-407), including Hall of Famers Roy Campanella and Hoyt Wilhelm, all graded and encapsulated EX-MT 6 by PSA (except two EX-MT+ 6.5). This is a very substantial collection of high numbers in outstanding condition from the 1952 Topps set. These cards are part of a small but extremely high grade cache of 1952 Topps high number series cards that were carefully stored away, untouched, for decades. Every card in the stack was a pack-fresh gem with perfect gloss. We were so impressed with the overall condition that we submitted every single card in the collection to PSA for grading. The collection consists of the following: #314 Campanella (bright and crisp, with four sharp corners, bold colors, and centered 20/80 L/R), 330, 336 (EX-MT+ 6.5), 340, 341, 344 Blackwell, 347 Adcock (EX-MT+ 6.5), 353, 357 Burgess, 360 Crowe RC, 378, 383, 385, 390, 392 Wilhelm RC, 393, and 404. 1952 Topps are one of card collecting's most popular and classic sets. This is an exceptional group that could make a strong foundation for a 1952 Topps set or a very significant contribution to the upgrading of a set currently in the process of being assembled. SMR value for this group is $4,985. Total 17 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$4,000. SOLD FOR $5,875
