1962 Topps #387 Lou Brock Rookie - PSA MINT 9

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,938

Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Only two examples have ever been graded higher by PSA. Extraordinary ultra high-grade example of this popular Hall of Famer rookie card. The 1962 Topps set is prone to many different problems, including centering issues, print quality, and especially corner and edge chipping. This is a gorgeous card with four razor-sharp corners, absolutely no chipping whatsoever, and a very striking image (which can sometimes be a problem on Brock's 1962 Topps card). The slight tilt to the image is of no consequence and is mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy. This is an outstanding super high-grade rookie card of Hall of Famer Lou Brock from one of the most condition-sensitive sets ever produced. Disclosure per section 13 of REA's terms and conditions: This lot has been consigned from the personal collection of an executive or employee of Robert Edward Auctions (or a relative of an executive or employee). Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000. SOLD FOR $2,938
