1963 Topps PSA MINT 9 Collection (63)

Starting Bid - $3,000, Sold For - $7,638

Extraordinary ultra-high grade collection of sixty-three different 1963 Topps baseball cards, each graded MINT 9 by PSA. Each card has brilliant colors with four razor-sharp corners and near-perfect centering. This is part of an extraordinary complete set of 1963 Topps cards, by far the finest we have ever seen or offered (PSA Registry Set #6), which we have broken down into smaller lots. All are crisp gems. The collection consists of the following: #47, 53, 93, 95, 108 Wilhelm, 116, 119, 128 Alou, 132, 171, 181, 182, 183 Pepitone, 205 Aparicio, 214, 218 Tiger Twirlers, 219, 223, 233 Stengel, 234, 241, 249, 258, 267, 273, 357, 371, 373, 376, 381, 389, 403, 409, 424, 427, 432, 435, 436, 447, 456, 466 Freehan RC, 482, 485, 486, 488, 494, 497, 498, 499, 504, 515, 521, 524 Cardinals team, 525 Fox, 527, 531, 533, 542, 545, 551, 560, 566, and 571. The flush-to-the-bottom-border design of the 1963 Topps set makes this issue particularly susceptible to edge and corner wear, and makes the assembly of high-grade sets all the more difficult. This is a tremendous collection for this issue, each in an uncompromising ultra high grade, and each an ideal addition to a world-class 1963 Topps baseball set. This collection is all the more significant as 1963 Topps is one of the 1960s' most condition-sensitive sets, and this is such a large collection of PSA MINT 9 cards, offered as a single lot, that this group alone could catapult a high-grade set to being one of the best in the world. The sixty-three cards in this extraordinary lot represent over 10% of the entire 1963 Topps set, all graded PSA MINT 9! We believe this is the largest collection of 1963 Topps PSA MINT 9 cards to ever be offered as a collection. Each card represents a significant contribution or potential upgrade to any world class high-grade 1963 Topps PSA Registry set. The SMR value for this group is $7,895. Total 63 cards. Reserve $3,000. Estimate $5,000+. SOLD FOR $7,638
