1956 Adventure Gum Boxing-Card Collection (26)

Collection of twenty-six ultra high-grade 1956 Adventure Gum boxing cards, comprised exclusively of key Hall of Famers (eleven different), all graded and encapsulated by GAI. This unusual and scarce issue includes a wide variety of sport and nonsport subjects, with a particular focus on famous boxing champions. Two cards are graded NM-MT+ 8.5, five cards are NM-MT 8, four cards are NM+ 7.5, and fifteen are NM 7. The collection consists of the following: #11 Pep (NM-MT 8), two 31 Burns (NM-MT 8 and NM+ 7.5), two 33 Willard (NM-MT 8 and NM 7), 77 Corbett (NM 7), two 78 Fitzsimmons (NM-MT+ 8.5 and NM-MT 8), five 79 Jeffries (NM-MT+ 8.5, NM-MT 8, NM+ 7.5, two NM 7), 80 Hart (NM 7), six 87 Sharkey (NM+ 7.5 and five NM 7), two 88 Carnera (both NM 7), 89 Baer (NM 7), and 90 Braddock (NM+ 7.5, two NM 7). Many years ago a quantity of Adventure Gum vending surfaced. Most extremely highly graded examples and complete sets of this issue originate from this find. These cards are obviously uncirculated, handpicked and fresh from vending.
