1909-1911 T206 Ty Cobb - Bat On Shoulder

Graded EX 5 by PSA. A very attractive and uncommonly high grade example of this classic tobacco card of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. The T206 Ty Cobb bat-on-shoulder pose is one of the key cards in the set, and one of the most recognizable of all 1910-era tobacco cards. The offered example has vibrant colors, flawless registration, and snow-white borders. This is a sharp-looking card, extremely clean both front and back, with four square corners displaying very light, even wear, and centered slightly to the top (approximately 40/60 T/B). Sovereign advertising on reverse is centered slightly to the left. The SMR value is $2,200. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500+. SOLD FOR $3,525
