Collection of thirteen pre-1900 cards comprised of two N284 Buchner Gold Coin Tobacco, ten N172 Old Judge (including Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers), and one N300 Mayo's Cut Plug, all graded and encapsulated by SGC (except one PSA). 1) 1887 N284 Buchner Gold Coin (2 cards): Richardson (hands on right shoulder, VG/EX 50) and Wise (EX 60). 2) 1887-1889 N172 Old Judge (10 cards): Brouthers (Det., looking right, VG 40, very attractive card with outstanding contrast, a little corner rounding, no creases), Crane (NY, VG 40, 1888 copyright), Decker (Phil., FAIR 20, 1889 copyright), Fogarty (Phil., POOR 10), Glasscock (Indianapolis, POOR 10), Krock (Chi., VG 40), Mattimore (NY, PSA PR 1), McGeachy (Indianapolis, FAIR 20, 1888 copyright), McGuire (Phil., VG 40), and Phelan (Des Moines, FAIR 20, 1889 copyright). 3) 1895 N300 Mayo's Cut Plug (1 card): Kennedy (FAIR 20). Thirteen quality cards in various grades, including several strong highlights, from three of the most important sets of the nineteenth century, including an exceptionally attractive (especially for the grade) N172 Old Judge example of Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers.
