1915 E145 Cracker Jack Collection (36)

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $3,819

Collection of thirty-six different 1915 E145 Cracker Jack cards (except two from the 1914 series) including five Hall of Famers and six players from the Federal League. We have selected five cards from the collection to be graded and encapsulated by SGC. The collection is comprised of the following: #3 Tinker (1914, SGC GOOD 30), 8, 12 Mack (1914, SGC VG 40), 15, 20 Falkenberg (Federal Leaguer), 23 Comiskey (SGC GOOD 30), 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 Wheat (SGC VG 40), 53, 59 Gessler (Federal Leaguer), 65 Speaker (SGC VG 40), 92, 101, 110, 111, 114, 116 Zeider (Federal Leaguer), 119 Perring (Federal Leaguer), 124 Moore (Federal Leaguer), 129, 147 Magee (Federal Leaguer), 148, 151, 153, 155, 158, 159, 164, 165, 166, 169, 170, and 172. The thirty-one ungraded cards in this collection (as well as the five graded cards) all have light caramel stains due to their method of issue and otherwise grade Vg-Ex overall. This is a very attractive medium-grade collection of cards that were actually issued in Cracker Jack boxes, in a very desirable and relatively affordable grade (compared to the much higher values of higher-grade Cracker Jacks) and representing a substantial start toward a set. Total 36 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $3,819
