1963 Topps #537 Pete Rose Rookie - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,528

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Magnificent high-grade example of Pete Rose's rookie card, the key card to the 1963 Topps set, and one of the 1960s' most famous and noteworthy cards. The 1963 Topps issue is extremely condition-sensitive due to its flush-to-the-border design. The offered example is pack-fresh with four sharp corners, bright colors, a flawless image, virtually no chipping to the extreme edges of the condition-sensitive blue border, and with centering very slightly to the right (approximately 60/40 L/R). A spectacular example of this most sought-after modern baseball-card classic in Nr/Mt-Mt condition. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $1,528
