Large Hall of Fame Signature Collection (140)

This gigantic Hall of Fame signature collection, consisting of 140 signed pieces, is comprised of 124 signed items that are smaller than 8 x 10 inches, including photos, real-photo postcards, and cards, and sixteen larger miscellaneous items as well. Signatures of an incredible total of eighty different Hall of Fame players are represented here, a number of them more than once. Among the highlights are a rare signed photo of Roderick Wallace, a rare and exceptional Kid Nichols signed photo, particularly impressive signed studio photos of Kenesaw Landis and Warren Giles, and items signed by Hank Greenberg, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, and Thomas Yawkey. The signatures, penned in a variety of inks, range from "6" to "10," averaging "9." The number of signed items for each listed player (if more than one) is noted in parentheses. Small Signed Photos (64). This group of black-and-white and color photos consists of many varieties, including both vintage and modern prints, professional photos, amateur snapshots (a few dating from the 1930s), and team-issued photos. Sizes range from approximately 3 x 4 inches to 5.25 x 7 inches, averaging 3.5 x 5 inches. Robinson, and T. Williams. Signed Miscellaneous Items (18). Diverse group of larger material that includes magazine posters, advertisements, and small art prints. Sizes range from 5 x 3.5 to 11 x 17 inches. The players represented here are Day, R. Jackson, T. Jackson, Kell, Lasorda, McCovey, Mize (2), Musial, Palmer (2), Perry (2), J. Rice, B.
