1912 T207 Brown Background O. Miller - Rare "Red Cross" Back
Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $4,406
Graded VG 40 by SGC. T207 "Red Cross" tobacco card of Otto Miller from the Brooklyn Nationals. This is one of eight T207 cards with "Red Cross" backs from one of vintage-card collecting's most exciting recent discoveries: the Louisiana Find of 2010. Miller has always been recognized as a rare card in the T207 set (with any back), but until now has been unknown with a Red Cross advertising back. The card has a perfectly crisp image, with flawless colors, even wear on the corners, a vertical crease in the upper right portion of the card, and is centered to the left (approximately 20/80 L/R). The reverse is boldly printed in red with just a few light scattered tobacco stains. This is a very sharp-looking unique T207 example with the extremely rare Red Cross advertising reverse. Reserve $1,000. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $4,406
