Extraordinary high-grade complete 50-card set of 1936 John Cotton Ltd. "Golf Strokes" cards. Both sides of each card features British professional golfer Archie Compston in action: on side A he emonstrates a full No. 1 iron shot; on side B he demonstrates the full drive. The concept of this set (along with the 1937 John Cotton Ltd. C/D "Golf Strokes" set) is unique in that it was made to be used as a flicker book when fastened together by a rubber band in correct numerical order. This is currently the number-one All-Time Finest set in the world on the PSA Registry! Each card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA. The set includes two GEM MINT 10s, thirty-two MINT 9s, and sixteen NM-MT 8s. The PSA registry overall weighted GPA rating is 8.70. Forty-eight of these cards are the highest-ever PSA-graded examples.
