1909-1911 T206 Rube Oldring - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $3,231

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only three examples graded at this level by PSA with none graded higher. This extremely high grade T206 of Rube Oldring, Phila. Amer. (Batting pose) has bold colors, four razor-sharp corners, and is well centered just a hint towards the top left (40/60 L/R and T/B). Sweet Caporal advertising on reverse. Based on the PSA Population Report, this is without question a particularly difficult card to find in extremely high grade. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $865. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $3,231
