1909-1911 T206 Bill O'Hara - St. Louis Americans Variation

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $2,350

Graded VG 3 by PSA. Presented is a very attractive technically mid-grade example of the rare O'Hara, St. Louis Americans T206 variation. This is an exceptionally clean example of the rare O'Hara, and a particularly strong looking card for the grade. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this T206 variation and, like most T206s with Polar Bear backs, the rare O'Hara tends to have various condition problems including tobacco staining. The offered card is extremely clean, with bold colors, and a few creases which do not significantly detract from the card's overall superb eye-appeal. The corners are square with very light wear. This is an extremely pleasing mid-grade example of one of the key significant (and in our opinion very underrated) rarities from the classic T206 White Border set. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,350
