1909-1911 T206 Southern Leaguer Complete SGC-Graded Set (48)

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $5,288

The Southern Leaguers have always been appreciated for their scarcity and as a popular subset to the T206 series. They have also always been listed at a significant premium in relation to regular cards in the set. Presented is a complete set of all forty-eight scarce T206 Southern Leaguers, each graded and encapsulated by SGC. Seven cards are EX 60, sixteen are VG/EX 50, eight are VG 40, fourteen are GOOD 30, two are FAIR 20, and one is graded POOR 10. SGC Condition Report Composite: Seven EX 60: Bastian - San Antonio, Bay - Nashville, Guiheen - Portsmouth (Old Mill back), Miller – Dallas, Otey - Norfolk, Seitz - Norfolk, and Westlake - Danville. The scarcity of the Southern Leaguers has always made putting together a complete T206 set particularly difficult. This is a very impressive complete collection of Southern Leaguers, with most cards having an appearance superior to their technically accurate assigned grades.
