1888 to 1926 Tobacco and Assorted Baseball-Card Collection (85 cards, 44 HOFers!)

Offered is an extremely diverse and interesting collection of eighty-five nineteenth- and early twentieth-century baseball cards highlighted by forty-four Hall of Famers including Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Walter Johnson, mostly low grade but with a few exceptions, spanning the years 1888 to 1926, with representation of nineteen different issues. This lot is a collection unto itself! We have submitted three cards to be graded by SGC. 1) 1888 "Scrapps" St. Louis Browns (1 card): O'Neill (Pr). 2) 1889 A35 Goodwin Round Album (1 page): Comiskey (HOF, Pr). 3) 1909 T204 Ramly (1 card): Chance (HOF, Pr). 4) 1909-1911 E90-1 American Caramel (1 card): Crawford (HOF, SGC GOOD 30). 5) 1909-1911 T206 White Border (44 cards): Condition ranges from Pr to Vg (averaging Gd). Includes Johnson and fourteen other Hall of Famers, three Southern Leaguers, and one future "Black Sox" member (Gandil). This is a fascinating representation of classic and unusual card issues from the nineteenth and early twentieth century including a very high concentration of Hall of Famers. Total: 85 cards.
