Exceptionally attractive collection of six high-quality N172 Old Judges, including two Hall of Famers, each graded and encapsulated by SGC (except one PSA). 1) #45-3 Brown (NY, EX/NM 80); 2) 66-1 Carpenter tagging player (Cincinnati, VG/EX 50) copyright dated 1888; 3) 182-3 Geiss (Chicago, VG/EX 50); 4) 251-3 Tim Keefe (HOF - NY, VG 40); 5) 340-1 Nash tagging "Old Hoss" Radbourn (HOF - Boston, VG 40) This is one of the most desirable of the popular double-player pose cards, and one of the few to include a Hall of Famer; 6) 508-1 Wood (Phil., PSA EX-MT 6) copyright dated 1888. Numbers referenced are provided by the recently published comprehensive Old Judge book. This is a carefully assembled small collection of N172 Old Judges, put together with great care one card at a time as a representative assembly of this important issue, with a concern for the significance of the players featured, condition, and the overall eye-appeal of each card. Total: 6 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,350
