1952 Topps SGC NM 84 and NM+ 86 High-Numbers Collection Including Reese and Dickey (22)

Starting Bid - $2,500, Sold For - $10,575

Collection of twenty-two 1952 Topps rare high-number series cards (#311-407) highlighted by Hall of Famers Pee Wee Reese and Bill Dickey, and the rookie card of Joe Nuxhall, seven graded NM+ 86 and fifteen NM 84 by SGC (except one PSA NM 7). This is a very substantial collection of high numbers in outstanding condition from the 1952 Topps set. Every card in the group is a pack-fresh gem with perfect gloss. The collection consists of the following: Seven NM+ 86: #335, 353, 389, 390, 401, 402, and 406 Nuxhall RC. Fifteen NM 84: #331, 333 Reese (bright and crisp, with four sharp corners, bold colors, and centered 60/40 L/R and 70/30 T/B), 334, 336, 344 Blackwell, 346, 354, 357 Burgess, 360 Crowe RC, 385, 386, 388, 396 Williams RC, 400 Dickey (PSA NM 7), and 403 Miller. 1952 Topps are one of card collecting's most popular and classic sets. This is an exceptional group that could provide a strong foundation for the assembly of the rare high numbers or make a very significant contribution to the upgrading of virtually any 1952 Topps set currently in the process of being assembled. The equivalent SMR value for this group is $14,750. Total: 22 cards. Reserve $2,500. Estimate $5,000/$10,000+. SOLD FOR $10,575
