This set has been assembled with great care and dedication over a period of many years, with concern for all factors, and with special consideration to overall eye-appeal. The flush-to-the-bottom-border design of the 1953 Topps set makes this issue particularly susceptible to edge and corner wear, and makes the assembly of high-grade sets all the more difficult. This is an exceptionally sharp and spectacularly attractive high-grade set of 1953 Topps, one of the finest sets we have offered of this classic Topps issue. The total SMR value for the individual cards (not including the three cards graded less than EX 5) is $21,933. Total 274 cards (261 PSA, twelve SGC, and one GAI). Reserve $5,000. Estimate $10,000/$15,000+. SOLD FOR $17,625
