1953 Canadian Exhibits Near-Complete Set (57 of 64)

Collection of fifty-seven cards (of the 64 in the set) from the 1953 Canadian Exhibits set, highlighted by fifteen Hall of Famers, including Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson, Stan Musial, and Tom Lasorda (rookie card). Missing only seven cards for completion (#1, 2, 7, 23, 28 J. DiMaggio, 29, and 32 Spahn). The 1953 Canadian Exhibits features both major leaguers and players from the Montreal Royals (Dodgers minor league team) of the International League. The cards measure (3-1/4 x 5-1/4 inches) slightly smaller than the standard U.S. Exhibit cards and have a card number in the corner. The cards are blank-backed. This high-grade near set is exceptionally crisp throughout. Condition ranges from Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (with just a couple slightly lesser), averaging Nr/Mt overall.
