1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax Rookie - PSA NM-MT 8
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,350
Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Magnificent high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is the most valuable card in that year's set after Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. Bright, crisp, and clean, with four sharp corners, near-perfect centering, and flawless registration. Only a few printing specks in the yellow background, which is so common to this card, keep this gem from a higher grade. This is a very attractive high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card, one of the most popular and classic of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,350
