Graded MINT 96 by SGC. One of only nine examples graded at this level by SGC, with none graded higher. Flawless mint example featuring Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson. The 1962 Topps set is prone to many different problems, including centering issues, print quality, and especially corner and edge chipping. This card is virtually flawless in all respects. Pack-fresh gem with perfect centering, four razor-sharp corners, no chipping on the condition-sensitive brown borders, and a flawless image. This is an outstanding super high-grade card of Hall of Famer Bob Gibson from one of the most condition-sensitive sets ever produced. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,200.
