1971 Topps Baseball (2nd Series) Unopened Rack Pack

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $823

Graded NM+ 7.5 by GAI. Extraordinary original unopened rack pack of fifty-four 1971 Topps Baseball (2nd Series) cards with Tom Seaver showing on top (along with cards of Bob Valentine & Mike Strahler rookie, and Jerry Reuss). This is a very rare unopened rack pack in virtually flawless condition, looking exactly as it did when it was sold in a candy store in 1971. The bottom of the rack pack features the backs of cards of #146 Ralph Houk, #170 Mike Cuellar, and #226 Bill Russell. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that included are Mint or Gem Mint cards. This is an exceptional ultra high-grade unopened rack pack of 1971 Topps, one of the most popular and condition-sensitive of all 1970s Topps issues, with one of the key stars of the set showing on top. Reserve $300. Estimate $500++. SOLD FOR $823
