1958-1963 Hartland Statue Collection (6)

Starting Bid - $100, Sold For - $533

ADDENDUM: Please note that the catalog description for this lot is in error. The correct description appears below.

Collection of six desirable original Hartland Plastics baseball statues: Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Yogi Berra, Warren Spahn, and Eddie Mathews. Berra is complete with its original mask, as are Ruth and Mantle with their original bats (a small portion of the bottom of the Mantle bat has broken off, but the break is not noticeable when displayed in Mantle's hands). Each statue stands freely except for Mantle (leans a bit). All of the statues display mild toning (Mantle is moderately toned) and a few light-to-moderate surface blemishes. Mays' left arm at one time became detached from the body and was later glued back on. The statues, as a group, are in overall Very Good to Excellent condition. This is an attractive mid-grade group of five of the most popular statues offered in the series, all of which remain ideal for display, as intended. Total: 6 statues. Reserve $100. Estimate $200/$400. SOLD FOR $533
