Washington Senators press pin issued for the 1925 World Series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The design features a crossed bat-and-ball motif in the center, with the words "Press" and "Washington 1925" lettered in relief, above and below, respectively. "World Series" is displayed in gilt letters upon a curved blue enamel panel at the top. Pittsburgh defeated the Senators in seven games in the 1925 World Series. The pin is in overall Excellent condition. Complete as issued. Manufactured by Dieges & Clust; threaded-post back. Approximately 1 inch in diameter. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $830
