Three Al Hirschfeld Signed Limited-Edition Lithographs - Three Stooges, The Godfather, and The Sopranos

Collection of three limited-edition Al Hirschfeld art prints, each featuring iconic characters from the world of movies and television. All of the prints have been hand-signed in pencil (grading "10') by Hirschfeld in the lower right corner and bear the limitation number in the lower left corner. 1) Three Stooges. Etching and aquatint, titled The Three Stooges in Hidden Ball Trick, numbered PP 2/2, issued in 1989. This is a rare printer's proof of this highly desirable print, of which only two were produced. The numbered edition was limited to just 200 prints. There is some slight toning to the image area (13.5 x 19 inches) from its having once been matted and framed; otherwise Nr-Mt. Paper: 20 x 27 inches. 2) The Godfather. Lithograph, titled The Godfather, numbered "16/175," issued in 2001. The image pictures Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, and Robert Duvall. Nr-Mt. Image area: 21 x 17 inches. Paper: 25.75 x 19.75 inches. 3) The Sopranos. Lithograph, titled The Sopranos, numbered "16/175," issued in 2000. The image pictures James Gandolifini, Michael Imperioli, Tony Sirico, Steven Van Zandt, and Vincent Pastore. Nr-Mt. Image area: 21 x 13 inches. Paper: 25.75 x 19.75 inches.
