1920-1921 W514 Near-Complete Set (95 cards plus 1 variation)

50% range from Vg to Ex-Mt (averaging Vg-Ex/Ex), 15% range from Fr to Gd, and 35% lesser. Near-complete set of W514 strip cards, consisting of 95 of the 120 cards in the set (plus one variation for a total of 96 cards). The twenty-five cards missing for completion are #6, 13, 15 Jackson, 21 Maranville, 23, 29, 31 Gandil, 35 L. Williams, 36, 38, 41 Griffith, 51, 57, 58, 70, 83, 87, 91 Weaver, 96, 98, 100, 103, 108, 114, and 116. The W514 set is the largest and most widely collected of the various "strip card" issues of the era. This near-complete set of 96 W514 strip cards includes an incredible twenty-five Hall of Famers, including Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, and Walter Johnson, plus three of the eight Chicago "Black Sox," who were banned from baseball for their alleged role in throwing the 1919 World Series. Thirty-four of the 96 cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA (9), SGC (24), or GAI (1).
