Two classic 1930s cards of Babe Ruth from two different very popular sets, each graded VG 40 by SGC: 1) 1933 R319 Goudey: #53 Ruth (evenly rounded corners, no creases, centered to the lower left, and a perfectly clean reverse with bold green lettering). 2) 1933 V353 World Wide Gum Canadian Goudey: #93 Ruth (bright card with bold colors, light corner wear, very sharp looking card with stronger appearance than the assigned grade, downgraded from a higher level due to a small stain on the top right of the reverse). Two very attractive mid-grade cards of the "Bambino" from two of the most popular sets of the era. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grades is $3,015. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $500.
