Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $3,259

Collection of 182 different (out of 274 cards in set) 1953 Topps cards, including the key card #82 Mickey Mantle. 1953 Topps is universally recognized as one of the most popular and collected of all 1950s gum issues, and one of the most significant of all postwar baseball-card issues. All the cards are graded and encapsulated by PSA (all have been personally submitted to PSA over the past couple years by our consignor, now 87 years old, who collected back in the 1970s).
