1958 Topps #150 Mickey Mantle - PSA NM-MT 8
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,659
Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Stunning high-grade example of what is universally recognized as one of Mantle's most classic and striking cards, and one of the most popular of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. When this card was issued, Mantle had just come off back-to-back MVP seasons (1956 and 1957) and was looking for the trifecta in 1958. The image used on the card features a young "Mick" set against a bright orange background. This example would fit perfectly in any world-class Mickey Mantle or 1958 Topps collection. Very well centered on the front, ever so slightly to the top left (approximately 35/65 L/R and 40/60 T/B), with snow-white borders, four razor-sharp corners, and the most subtle registration flaw. A solid Nr/Mt-Mt example, this card looks like it was just pulled from a pack in 1958. SMR value is $2,250. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+.
