  • Year: 1912
  • Auction: 2012 spring

Graded NM 7 by PSA. One of only four examples graded at this level by PSA, with just one graded higher. Extremely strong and striking ultra high-grade PSA example of key Hall of Famer Frank Chance from the highly desirable T207 Brown Background series. In fact, to put the grade of this card into proper perspective, of the 5,410 T207s graded by PSA to date, for all players in the set only 164 have graded NM 7, twenty-seven NM-MT 8, and one MINT 9 (no 10s have ever been graded). Incredibly bright and clean, both front and back, with a bold brown background, perfectly centered, four sharp corners, and a flawless surface. The text on the reverse is centered toward the top edge. This is a magnificent T207 example of one of Hall of Famer Frank Chance's most classic and condition-sensitive cards, in an extraordinary high grade. The equivalent SMR value is $1,600. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+.
