Collection of six (three different) "How To Play Better Basketball" booklets produced by Hood Dairy in 1963. The offered eight-page instructional booklets (approximately 4-7/8 x 3-1/4), which feature Hall of Famer Bob Cousy as their spokesman, were issued as promotional giveaways by the company. The back, which features Cousy's facsimile signature below a testimonial for Hood Dairy as well as advertising for the company, is boldly printed. The offered collection consists of the following titles: How To Dribble (2), How To Pass, and How To Shoot (3). Each booklet is extremely fragile due to its stock and is naturally susceptible to damage. All of the booklets are bright and crisp with an overall Excellent appearance. A few booklets vary in size and display natural diamond cuts as issued. This is the first time we have ever seen or offered examples from this rare issue! This group of booklets would highlight any Bob Cousy or basketball collection! Total: 6 booklets. Reserve $300.
