A self-proclaimed sports history junkie, Joe is responsible for researching and developing copy detailing auction items. After spending several years as a buyer in REA’s auctions, he turned passion into profession and joined the company in February 2021. His extensive knowledge of pre-war cards, especially the famed 1909-1911 T206 and the 1914 Cracker Jack sets, has been vital in crafting comprehensive descriptions of REA items. He also works closely with consignors to offer historic insight on cards and memorabilia and is a frequent presence at industry trade shows. He spent the first six years of his career within the software sector in his native Northern Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government from St. Lawrence University.
