Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Extremely strong high-grade example of the ideal classic Babe Ruth bubble-gum card, featuring the Babe in his follow-through batting pose. Strong color, clarity, and crisp registration. The reverse is pure white with bold green print. The card is almost perfectly centered with four pack-fresh corners and snow white borders. This is one of the most popular and recognizable baseball cards from any era. Considered by many to represent the best value in high-grade among the four Babe Ruth cards in the 1933 Goudey set, this card is always highly sought after, on any short list of the hobby's most classic cards, and, of course, very rare to find in such high grade. Extremely strong example with the appearance of a Mint card. SMR value is $17,500. Reserve $5,000. Estimate $10,000/$20,000. SOLD FOR $19,720.00
