The 1915 Cracker Jack is universally recognized to be one of Ty Cobb"™s most striking and popular cards. We have always thought this is what a Ty Cobb card is supposed to look like! It is also one of the most famous and highly prized cards in all of vintage-card collecting. The "Georgia Peach" is one of the three key cards in the Cracker Jack set, along with Jackson and Wagner. The offered card is absolutely pristine, crisp, and perfectly fresh, with flawless registration, four sharp corners, and very well centered, with a very slight picture tilt (which is a natural characteristic of the card). The red color of the background is particularly deep and bold. The reverse is perfectly clean with bold black text. This card was obviously once from an original factory set obtained by mail directly from the company. If not for the subtle picture tilt (of no consequence and natural to the card), perhaps this card would grade Mint. In our opinion, one could not ask for more from a 1915 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb. This card leaves nothing to be desired. It is a gem in every way! Any short list of card collecting's greatest and most recognizable icons would include Ty Cobb's Cracker Jack card.
