This is an extraordinary card with only the slightest traces of wear on the corners, near-flawless registration, and centered just a hint toward the bottom. The reverse is perfectly clean with bold green print. This is one of the most popular and recognizable baseball cards from any era. Considered by many to represent the best value in high grade among the four Babe Ruth cards in the 1933 Goudey set, the #144 Ruth card is always greatly sought after, on any short list of the hobby's most classic cards, and, of course, extremely rare to find in such high grade.
