Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Bat-off-shoulder pose of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb with the extremely rare Uzit back. All Uzit backs are great rarities, but this card is even more interesting and desirable because it features Ty Cobb and is the premier T206 card with an Uzit back. This is the only pose of Cobb in the T206 set that was printed with an Uzit advertising back. It is also interesting to note while the red background portrait card of Ty Cobb with an advertisement for Ty Cobb Tobacco (of which approximately two dozen are known) is universally recognized as one of the most significant and valuable of all tobacco-card rarities, the Uzit back T206 Ty Cobb is even rarer, with literally only several examples known to exist! It has long been an almost mythical legendary rarity among rare T206 and all Ty Cobb cards. The offered example is extremely attractive, with a flawless image of Cobb set against a bold multicolor background. Free of any creases, and graded VG-EX due to honest corner wear.
