Extremely attractive collection of vintage entertainment- and T.V. show-themed nonsport unopened wax packs. Each pack has been graded and encapsulated by PSA as NM-MT 8 (3) or NM 7 (2), and is clean, with vibrant colors, a tight factory seal along the back, and only very minor wear. The packs feature photos or colorful illustrations related to their respective series and subject matter. Issued in the 1960s (except for the 1977 Topps Test Charlie's Angels pack), these classic sets produced by Donruss, Fleer and Topps were very popular with youngsters in that era. Included are the following unopened packs: 1) 1965 Donruss "Disneyland" five cents wax pack (NM-MT 8). 2) 1966 Donruss "Marvel Super Heroes" five cents wax pack (NM-MT 8). 3) 1966 Fleer "Three Stooges" five cents wax pack (NM-MT 8). 4) 1966 Topps "Batman - Riddler Back" series five cents wax pack (NM 7). 5) 1977 Topps Test Charlie's Angels wax pack (NM 7, white "test" wrapper with illustrated label). There is a printed notation "UK:3" at the upper right of the front label of the Charlie's Angels pack, as well as a reference to Trebor Sharps Ltd., Maidstone on the sticker/seal on the reverse, implying that this was likely a Test pack for the UK market. We are unable to determine if the cards inside are the standard U.S. versions, or what series they may be from. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within these packs are high-grade cards from these popular nonsport series. With the exception of the Topps Test pack, the other packs appear almost exactly as they did on store shelves over fifty years ago! This collection of vintage packs would make an outstanding addition to any entertainment, nonsport, or unopened pack collection. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
