1948 Leaf Boxing uncut sheet features a complete set of all forty-nine cards in the set, presented in their ideal original form, with fully printed backs. The 1948 Leaf series is one of the most popular boxing sets ever issued. This set features all the major boxing greats up to that time, and has always been a favorite with collectors. Includes Dempsey, Jeffries, Johnson, Attell ("Black Sox" bagman), Schmeling, Sharkey, Louis, Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Robinson, Tunney, Baer, Sullivan, and LaMotta. The sheet has imperfections including creases, edge and corner wear, a white sticker on the lower right border, and a small stain on the boldly printed reverse. Technically in Fair to Good condition due to the above-mentioned flaws, the sheet still has an impressive overall Vg appearance. Most of the interior cards are not affected by the imperfections. This is an extremely rare uncut sheet featuring a complete set of one of the most popular vintage boxing sets ever issued.
