Graded EX 60 by SGC. Extremely attractive example of this classic tobacco card of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb (Detroit Tigers). This card has the special distinction of originating from the collection of legendary collector Lionel Carter. The Green Background pose has long been considered the rarest of the four poses of Cobb in the T206 set. Cobb's portrait contrasts sharply against the flawless green background. Perfect registration, no creases, clean both front and back, centering slightly towards the left, and four strong corners. The Sweet Caporal reverse is perfectly clean. A very striking example of one Cobb's most popular cards from the premier tobacco issue of the 1910 era.
