Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. Superb, modestly-graded example of what is universally recognized as one of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb's most iconic cards! The Red Background pose has long been considered one of the great classics of the T206 set and of all vintage cards. The offered example is noteworthy both for its desirable Polar Bear advertising back as well as the presence of a near-complete nameplate appearing in the top border of the card. This example has a particularly striking portrait and brilliant colors, with a near-flawless red background. Centered slightly to the bottom right with even wear at the corners. The Polar Bear reverse is boldly printed, with only a few light spots of tobacco staining. This is a very attractive and extremely interesting printing anomaly of this classic Ty Cobb card!
