Graded VG 3 by SGC. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's Bowman rookie card is the key to the 1951 Bowman set and one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. Presented is an attractive example featuring a crisp image and flawless registration. Centered to the top left, with light corner wear. Free of any print lines, which are extremely common to this card. The reverse has a light wax stain on the bottom and a few spots of light surface wear. This is a very appealing example in a particularly desirable grade for a Mantle rookie card.
