Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Superb ultra-high-grade example of one of the key cards from the 1956 Topps set, featuring Jackie Robinson on his final card issued as a player during his playing days. This is one of Robinson's most classic cards, featuring a crisp portrait of the Brooklyn Dodgers legend set against a background image of him sliding into the plate. The offered card is outstanding in all respects: brilliant colors, bright white borders, four razor-sharp corners, perfect registration, and excellent centering (slightly toward the top left). The white back is entirely clean. Out of an astounding 4,745 examples of this card graded by PSA to date, only seventeen have been graded MINT 9 with none higher.
