Banks is one of the key cards to the 1954 Topps set and is one of four Hall of Fame rookies making their Topps debut that year (Aaron, Kaline, and Lasorda are the other three). He is also the most difficult of the four to find in high grade, with only fourteen MINT 9s ever graded compared to twenty-four for Aaron and twenty each for Kaline and Lasorda.
