A quick look at the PSA population report shows that an incredible 3,952 examples of this card have been graded to date. Of these, only 13 have graded PSA MINT 9, with no PSA GEM MT 10 examples ever graded. 1954 Topps cards typically suffer from a variety of condition problems, including print defects (only a tiny mark on Mays' elbow is present here) and a tendency to have soft corners, which make Mint examples particularly difficult to find.
