Attractive example of this classic tobacco card of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb, with an unusual and desirable Sovereign Cigarettes back. Sovereign is a scarce back, certainly not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but unusual and seen less often than most other advertising backs. The T206 Ty Cobb bat-on-shoulder pose is one of the key cards in the set and the second most valuable of the four Ty Cobb cards in the T206 series. Encapsulated as Authentic by SGC due to trimming, this example is bright and crisp, with bold colors, light wear to the corners, and centered toward the top right. The Sovereign 350 advertising reverse is clean with no tobacco stains. This is a very presentable example of one of the key cards of Ty Cobb from the most popular set of the 1910 era. Reserve $10.
